Some questions: 1) How you would choose the members from management? Some from each hierachial level and how many in total? 2) Will you present the result to Managment and/or staff?
What kind of organization culture are we talking about here, e.g. do you mean the culture of team spirit, culture of "can-do" etc on Knowledge Management. It will be easier to understand if we know what kind of Organization culture we are studying before we conduct the research.
The type of org. will be some knowledge-based org. like consultant org.
As I mentioned in slides, senior staff (1-2), PM, members(1-3) and 20 users will be selected. I suppose it will not exceed 30. Hopefully, it's around 25.
I think I will let the management know the result of the study. However, it may not be disclosed to all staff due to confidentiality.
Thank you for your comments. You are right. Maybe I need to explain a little bit on the org. culture concerned in this study. It is about attitude to sharing knowledge with others, using other's ideas, working collaboratively and etc. You know, org. culture is about the common understanding and approved behaviour in the org. I will focus on those which may affect the KM implementation in the org. The details will be identified in the plan.

Julie
Hi, I am Julie, a teacher librarian in a primary school on Hong Kong Island. Many school libraries have limited resources, like my school library is really a one-man band, but we still strive to meet the need of our users. In my spare time, I like reading, listening to music and hiking.
Nice to meet you all.
